Yong Nam Johnson, 69, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at her home in Brandon. Yong Nam was born March 6, 1941 in South Korea to To Chan and Won Sun (O) Kim. She was married to Kenneth Johnson on August 21, 1970 in South Korea. They moved to the United States and lived in Flandreau, Brookings and Sioux Falls. They moved to Brandon in 1978 and her husband preceded her in death on October 19, 2008. Yong Nam became a naturalized citizen on May 14, 2010.

"Chong Hee" is survived by one daughter, Ada Johnson, Sioux Falls; one son, Steven, Brandon; one grandson, Shane Hoxsie, Sioux Falls; one great-grandson, Carter Hoxsie; one brother in South Korea and one sister-in-law, JoAnn Dailey, Flandreau. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Saturday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau with burial in Bethania Cemetery, Alliance Township, Moody County, SD.
