Walter David Mueller, 87, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at The Neighborhoods at Brookview in Brookings, SD. Walter was born March 21, 1928 in Elkton, SD, to August and Elizabeth (Hayward) Mueller. He received his education at a Lincoln County, MN, country school. Walter married Evelyn Brandt on February 14, 1949 in Pipestone, MN. He was a lifetime farmer in Richland Township. Walter and Evelyn retired from farming in 1999 and moved into Elkton, SD in August of 1999. He was a member of the United Parish of Elkton.

Walter is survived by his wife Evelyn and his son David. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, October 19, 2015 at United Parish of Elkton with burial in the Elkton City Cemetery. Visitation is 2:00 – 4:00 pm Sunday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Elkton. www.skrochfc.com
