Tony Francis Wiskur, age 54, of Elkton, SD, gained his angel wings on March 08, 2020 after a courageous battle of cancer at home surrounded by family. Tony was born in Hendricks, MN, to Francis "Toots" Wiskur and Beverly (Dahl) Wiskur on November 17, 1965. Tony was baptized and confirmed at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Elkton. Tony graduated from Elkton, SD in 1984 and attended Vo-Tech in Watertown for Diesel Mechanic.  Tony has done many things during his life. Tony moved to Huron, SD after completing Votech where Tony worked at John Deere and met his wife. Tony married the love of his life, Kathy, on July 24, 1992. Tony enjoyed time in Huron with many friends, breaking horses. Tony also owned his own diesel mechanic shop while residing in Huron. In 1998, Tony, Kathy and their kids moved to Elkton  to continue working on his dad's farm. Tony opened his own shop in Elkton for a short time. After Toots' death Tony, Scott and Doug partnered up to farm together.  While Tony was running the family farm, he also worked in Hendricks, MN and CRC in Brookings.  Tony's wife, kids, grandchildren and family were the joy of his life. Tony always waited for his grandkids to visit so they could ride the ponies and help with chores. Tony was selfless and always willing to help others in times of need whether big or small. Tony will be missed greatly by many.

Tony is survived by his wife, Kathy; his kids: Dodi, Ronnie (Sylvia), Landi, and Stacy (Jamal); grandkids: Jacob, Harmony, Perla, Izaha, José, Zhayne, Quincy, Alicia, Mariah, Kiara, Lauren, and Amira; and great-grandkids: Maria and Harpyr. Tony is also survived by his brothers: Scott, Doug (special friend, Glenda), and Brad (Abby); sister, Laurie; nieces, Cassandra and Kaitlyn; nephews: Austin, Preston, Cody, Ethan, and Eric; his dog, Turbo; and many aunts, uncles, extended relatives, and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Beverly; and his grandparents: Frank and Evelyn Wiskur, and Melvin and Evelyn Dahl.

Mass of Christian Burial for Tony will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Elkton. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Elkton. Visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 pm with a scripture service at 5:30 pm on Wednesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Elkton.
