Toby Nicholas Taylor, 16, of Flandreau, SD, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at his home. Toby was born August 9, 2002 in Sioux Falls, SD, to Nicholas Taylor and Becky Cramer. He attended Flandreau Public School where he was a sophomore. Toby was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 4-H, Boy Scouts, and was a Green Bay Packers fan. He was active in football, baseball, riding his dirt bike, fishing, hunting, and loved building things with legos. Toby looked out for his sisters and taught them to play Minecraft and he loved playing and cheating at cards! He loved shooting archery with his sister Terissa and hanging out with his friends. Toby was his mom's Black Friday shopping partner and hated not knowing what was in the wrapped gifts. He loved having fireworks wars with his siblings, and always helped with whatever was asked of him. He was a jokester and a prankster and enjoyed a good laugh. Toby participated in a tribal drum group and playing hand games.

Toby is survived by his parents; six siblings, Zac Caulfield, MT; Nathan and Levi Taylor, Minneapolis; Theodore, Tiffany and Terissa Taylor, all of Flandreau; grandparents, Robert and Betty Cramer and Ceedy Johnson, all of Pipestone; two uncles, Brian Cramer, NC; Matt (Kellie) Taylor, Flandreau; and cousin Cole. Toby was preceded in death by his Grandpa Myron "Butch" Taylor and cousin Caitlyn Taylor.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Wicoicaga Otipi Community Center, Flandreau, with burial in the First Presbyterian Cemetery. An all night wake will begin 7:00 pm Friday at the community center with wake services every evening. There will be a Catholic Daughter rosary at 2:45 pm Sunday with a 3:00 pm Catholic scripture service.
