Stanley F. Reynolds, 84, of Flandreau, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the Madison Regional Health System, Madison, SD. Stanley was born January 18, 1936 at Pipestone, MN to Harold and Nellie (Sweet) Reynolds. Stan graduated from Riverview Country School and then started farming with his brother Harold Jr. He joined the 147 ^th National Guard Unit in Flandreau, SD. Stanley was married December 1, 1955 to Shirley Jaacks at the United Methodist Church in Flandreau. Stan was a farmer and a self-employed carpenter for 30 years. Stan was a member of the Flandreau United Methodist Church and a former member of the Farmers Union. He enjoyed music and dancing and also enjoyed bowling, golfing, woodworking, having coffee with the guys, but most of all loved spending time with family. Stan and Shirley wintered for many years at Florence Gardens in Florence, AZ. In 2006 they sold the farm and moved to Flandreau.

Stan is survived by his wife, Shirley; three daughters, Kimberly (Mike) Anderson, Sartell, MN; Brenda Grafing (Dave Williams), Tremont, IL; Betty (Brian) Anderson, Flandreau; nine grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Hiller, Sioux Falls and Dorothy (Darold) Kneebone, Flandreau. He was preceded in death by his son Tom, parents, three brothers, Frank, Harold Jr., Milton and a sister Maxine Greco.

Private family funeral services will be held and will be live-streamed on the Skroch Funeral Chapel Facebook page at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 30, 2020. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Flandreau. Public visitation without the family present will be Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau.
