Shirley M. Miller, 78, died Monday, September 14, 2009 at Good Samaritan Village, Sioux Falls. She was born April 28, 1931 in Flandreau, SD to Charlie and Myrtle (Munson) Duncan. She attended Vance Country School and Flandreau High School. Shirley managed the cafe in Egan, SD and worked in different cafes in Pipestone, MN while raising her family. She worked at Bayliner Boat Factory in Pipestone in the early 1970's and then moved to Lamar, TX in 1986 where she was a nanny. She moved to Sioux Falls in 1987 and worked in a convenience store and has continued to live in Sioux Falls.

Shirley is survived by two sons, Darwin (Sharon) Mundahl, Sioux Falls, Danny (Patricia) Mundahl, Brookings, one daughter, TJ (Bob) Zick, Sioux Falls and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death a son, Curtis, a daughter, Julie, one grandson and granddaughter, her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 18, 2009, 11:00 am at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, with burial in Union Cemetery, Flandreau. Visitation is from 4-8 pm Thursday at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
