Sheri L. Eich, 69, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at her home at Lake Madison. She was born December 8, 1946 to Darwin and Marie (Hagg) Foss. Sheri graduated from Chester High School and went to Stewart's School of Beauty in Sioux Falls. She married Michael Eich on May 31, 1968 at Colman, SD. They moved to Georgia for three years and she worked at a restaurant and K-Mart. They returned to a farm south of Colman and then in 1995 built Eich Trucking and Repair which is located next to Prairie Junction. Before Sheri and Ron built the shop they frequently wintered in Florida. They moved to Lake Madison in 2010. Sheri was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Altar Society, and Colman American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed painting, gardening, fishing, hunting, horses and riding on the pontoon.

Sheri is survived by her husband Mike "Ron", son Rick (fiancée Shellie), Madison, SD, three grandchildren, Kelsie, Kaylie, and Kaleb Eich, brother Daryl (Carol) Foss, Pipestone, MN, and aunt Vivian Sneve, Coeur d'Alene, ID. Sheri was preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Colman, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Colman, with a 7 p.m. prayer service.
