Sandra L. Reinhart, 54, died Monday at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Sandy was born July 29, 1953 at Flandreau, SD to Alfred and Shirley (Thomas) Reinhart. She graduated from Flandreau High School in 1971 and then attended SDSU where she graduated with a Sociology Degree. Sandy worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Dorsett Nursing Home in Spearfish until 1981. She moved to Rapid City and received a computer degree in 1985 and then worked in computers and CNA until she moved to Flandreau in 1989. Sandy worked at Riverview Manor as a CNA and in laundry. In between all of Sandy's work she was an adventurous soul and worked in a bicycle factory, Wall Drug and loved to cruise on motorcycles. She took many trips with her best friend, Penny, her mother and her brothers and sisters. Sandy loved all kinds of music, especially Elvis, movies and her favorite car was the Cougar. Sandy loved a good cup of coffee and was always ready to share a cup with family and friends. She was a devoted employee and loved the people she worked with. Sandy loved the outdoors, had a great sense of humor and loved life to the fullest.

Sandy is survived by five siblings, Gary, Fargo, Kathy Floyd (Jim Patterson), Denver CO, Linda Reinhart,Bangkok, Thailand, Tom, Fargo and Barbara (Glenn) Riggs, Newcastle, WY; three nephews, Michael, Patrick and Daniel and a niece, Quincee. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am Saturday at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 5 – 7 pm Friday at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
