Sandra S. Moser, 66, died Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Brookings Hospital. She was born October 31, 1942 in Rock Rapids, IA to Julius and Lillian (LaFrenz) Moser. She went to country school in Iowa and her family moved to Elkton, SD on March 1, 1955. She attended special education classes in Brookings for several years. Sandra joined Advance in Brookings on May 1, 1988 where she has continued to reside. She worked for McDonald's, Larson Manufacturing and Falcon Plastics of Brookings. Sandra was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed going to the zoo and the Black Hills.

Sandra is survived by three brothers, Irwin (Anita) Moser, Greeley, CO, Thomas Moser, Aurora, Dean (Shirley) Moser, Sioux Falls; a sister, Vikkie (Steve) Myers, Elkton; 10 nieces and nephews and her extended family from Advance. She was preceded in death by her parents.


Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Monday, August 24, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Elkton, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Sunday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Elkton.
