Sally A. Peper, 67, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls. Sally was born November 20, 1944 in Flandreau, SD to LaMonte "Snick" and MaDonna (Smith) Scofield. She attended grade school at Riverview Country School, graduated from Flandreau High School in 1962 and attended Stewarts School of Hairstyling in Sioux Falls. Sally returned to Flandreau and married Thomas Peper on May 19, 1963 in Flandreau. She worked as a beautician in Flandreau and had her own shop for many years at their farm house. Sally went to work at Personal Touch on March 1, 1985 until retiring in 2005. Sally was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, WELCA, was a 4-H leader, FFA advisor and she loved cooking and baking for the hired men and neighbors.
Sally is survived by her husband Tom; two sons, Todd (Tina), Orlando, FL and Tab (Marcia), Flandreau; three grandchildren, Frank, Nick and Brittany; one brother Jon; one sister Kris (David) Johnson, both of Flandreau; her aunt Ethel Wiese, Flandreau and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, January 30, 2012 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with burial in Union Cemetery. Visitation begins at 4:00 pm Sunday with a 7:00 pm prayer service at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
