Roger W. Moe, 69, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at Sanford Medical Center, Sioux Falls. Roger was born January 30, 1941 in Flandreau, SD to Olney L. and Merle (Brown) Moe. He grew up in Colman, SD and graduated from Colman High School 1959. He attended Augustana College for 2 years and graduated from General Beadle State College in 1963. Roger married Helen Bunkers on August 25, 1962 at Huron, SD. He taught for 4 years in Sioux Falls. Roger was a sales rep for chemical and fertilizer companies until retiring in 2005. He was a member of Colman Lutheran Church. Roger loved fishing, telling Norwegian jokes and traveling. He also enjoyed the computer, music and taking care of his yard.

Roger is survived by his wife, Helen, Sioux Falls; 3 children, Michael Moe, Sioux Falls, Angela (Lon) Semansky, Sioux Falls, Kristin Moe, St. Paul, MN; 4 grandchildren, Lacey, Gabs, Jacob, Noah and 1 brother, James (Cheryl) Moe, Grand Junction, CO. He was preceded in death by an infant son and his parents.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Colman Lutheran Church, Colman with burial at Colman Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Colman.
