Robert "Bob" Wrigg, 94, of Elkton, SD, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Brookings Health System. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 28, 2023 at United Parish of Elkton, SD. Visitation will begin an hour prior at 1:00 PM, also at United Parish of Elkton.

Bob was born on November 17, 1929 to Henry and Anna (Wallace) Wrigg in Luverne, Minnesota. He attended school at Luverne and Lake Wilson, MN. He then moved to the farm in Elkton, South Dakota in 1959 and lived there until his death.

Bob had many hobbies; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and word search puzzles. He raised animals which included peacocks, many kinds of poultry and white donkeys. Bob also collected license plates and was a member of the Dakota License Plate Club. He served on the Richland Township Board for 30 years.

He was united in marriage to Lois Hinrichs in 1983 and has one step daughter, Barb Garvin.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Lois Wrigg, Elkton, SD; stepdaughter, Barb Garvin, Brookings, SD, and cousins, John and Arlene Lindquist, Tampa, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Wrigg.
