Robert "Bobby" Redwing, 75, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Riverview Health Services in Flandreau, SD. Bobby was born October 16, 1937 in Pipestone, MN to Enos and Mary (Lewis) Redwing. They moved to Flandreau, SD and Bobby received his education at the Flandreau Public Schools. He entered the U.S. Army on October 25, 1955 and was stationed in Germany. After his discharge on October 17, 1958, Bobby returned to Flandreau and worked for area farmers and in road construction. He moved to Redwood Falls, MN where he was employed at Woodcom before returning to Flandreau. Bobby was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe. He became a resident at Riverview on April 12, 2013.

Bobby is survived by three sisters, Juanita (Robert) Nesje, Sioux Falls, Beverly Wakeman, Flandreau, Marie Auseth, Fergus Falls, MN and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 18, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church, Flandreau with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Friday at Skroch Funeral Chapel with a 7:00 pm prayer service.
