Robert John Bones, 79, passed away on December 13, 2022 under hospice care at Riverview Healthcare Center, Flandreau. Bob was born to John and Irene Bones on April 14, 1943 in Omaha, Nebraska. He received his education at Pipestone High School, Pipestone, MN. Following high school, Bob had a 20 year long career in the military and served in the Vietnam War.

Bob is survived by four children, Penelope Bones, Belgium; John Bones, Belgium; Melisa (John) Villanueva, Locust Grove, VA;  Debra (Tim) Bashford, Woodbridge, VA; and ten grandchildren: Vincent, Simon, Perrine, Gary, Laura, Dominic, Matthew, Andrew, Alexis and Gavin. He is also survived by his sister Donita Place, and brothers Richard, Douglass and Dean Bones.
