Reva E. Dougherty, 92, died Monday, July 19, 2010 at Riverview Manor in Flandreau. Reva was born October 2, 1917 at Flandreau to John and Laura (Bulen) Spaulding. She received her education at Lathrop Country School and Flandreau High School. Reva married Elroy Dougherty at Flandreau on January 28, 1936. They farmed north of Flandreau until 1976 when they moved into Flandreau. Her husband preceded her in death on December 29, 1993. She lived at Greenleaf Assisted Living and December 22, 2009 she became a resident at Riverview Manor. Reva was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church.

Reva is survived by one son, Ralph (Harriet) Dougherty, New Brighton, MN; a daughter, Vera Dougherty, Roseville, MN; 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy; two sons, Roger and Richard; one daughter, Deloris; four grandchildren; her parents; a sister, Mae and a brother, Merle.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Second Presbyterian Church with burial in Union Cemetery. Visitation begins at 5:00 pm Wednesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel with a 7:00 pm prayer service with the family present from 5-7 pm.
