Pauline M. McGlone, 81, of Flandreau, SD, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Riverview Healthcare Community, Flandreau. Pauline was born December 27, 1937 at Aberdeen, SD, to Andrew and Katherine (Dutenhoffer) Daschel. She attended school in Aberdeen, graduating from Aberdeen Central in 1955. Then she worked for K.O. Lee Manufacturing in Aberdeen. Pauline married James McGlone on August 3, 1963 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Aberdeen. They moved to Plankinton, SD for two years and then Elk Point for one year. In 1966 they moved to Flandreau and Pauline babysat for many families for several years. She also was a waitress at the Flandreau Country Club and then was a hostess at Royal River Casino. Pauline was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church and Altar Society. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, her flower garden, biking, dancing and sporting events (Flier fan). She was an avid bowler and a Thursday night groupie "hash brown night."

Pauline is survived by her husband James "Tiger"; three children, Murray (Megan), Yankton, SD; Marietta (Reggie) Gassman, Flandreau; Mitzi (Tim) Nath, Sioux Falls; 12 grandchildren, Tony, Paul, Chelsey, Andrew, Luke, Allissa, John, Anna, Sam, Matthew, Kaitlin, Brenna; one great-granddaughter Paizlee; three siblings, Jeanette (Pete) Schappa; Hastings, MN; Ed (Val) Daschel, Aberdeen; Linda (Tom) Malone, Tucson, AZ; two sisters-in-law, Helen Daschel, Sioux Falls; Irene Daschel, Black Hawk, SD; and several nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded by her parents and two brothers, Bernard and James Daschel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, September 30, 2019 at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Flandreau, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3:00 – 5:00 pm Sunday, September 29, 2019 with a 5:00 pm scripture service at Skroch Funeral Chapel. Memorials to Alzheimer's Association South Dakota Chapter.
