Patricia Ann Tollefson, 60, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital, Sioux Falls. Pat was born March 19, 1952 in Moody County, SD to Donald and Margaret Marlene (Allen) Smith. She graduated from Egan High School in 1970. Pat married Roger Tollefson on June 20, 1970 in Flandreau, SD. She attended nursing school in Sioux Falls and worked as an LPN at IOOF Nursing Home in Dell Rapids for 28 years. Then she worked at Southridge Healthcare in Sioux Falls for 12 years until March 30, 2012 when she suffered a stroke. Pat enjoyed playing with her granddaughter Makayla and playing cards and dice. She also enjoyed going to Las Vegas with her friends.

Pat is survived by one daughter Leslie (Travis) Duinkerken, Dell Rapids; one granddaughter Makayla; six siblings, Mike (Susan) Smith, Lake Poinsett, David (Carol) Smith, Flandreau, Terri (Denny) Fjellanger, Dell Rapids, Tom (LouAnne) Smith, Egan, Donna Smith, Brookings, Nicki (Cindy) Smith, Uniontown, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, with burial in Hillside Cemetery, Egan. Visitation is from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Tuesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel with a 7:00 pm prayer service.
