Patricia J. Herrick, 82, of Flandreau, SD, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at Riverview Healthcare Community, Flandreau. Pat was born on August 3, 1936 in Chicago, IL, to Charles and Ruth (Frame) Jewell. She moved to Whittier, CA, with her grandparents and graduated from high school in Whittier. Pat married Robert "Bud" Kneebone on September 20, 1955 at Pipestone, MN, and continued to live in Whittier until 1980 when they moved to Flandreau. They operated multiple businesses in Flandreau. She moved to Ward, SD, in 1985 and married Maynard Herrick on December 26, 1986 in Flandreau. Maynard passed away on May 25, 1987. Pat became a resident of Riverview Healthcare Community on October 13, 2017. She enjoyed singing, history, reading and movie trivia.

Pat is survived by 3 daughters: Valerie (Don Moose) Eicholtz, Thief River Falls, MN, Sherrill (Tim) Broekhuizen, Flandreau, Pamela Vosberg, Sioux Falls; step-daughter, Gina Williams, Flandreau; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and brother, Kaj (Dianna) Jewell, Hesperia, CA. She was preceded in death by husband, Maynard, daughter, Laura Bullard, granddaughter, Tomi Ann Martin, parents and a brother, Eddie Jewell.

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, with burial in Union Cemetery, Flandreau. Visitation will be one hour preceding the service at the chapel.
