Pat A. Adkins, 58, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at her home under hospice care. Pat was born May 3, 1951 in Flandreau, SD, daughter of William and Ruth (Johnson) Fuhs. She graduated from Flandreau High School in 1969. Pat attended Stewarts Beauty School in Sioux Falls, worked in Flandreau and then married Dale Eng and they lived in Flandreau. Pat moved to Brooking and married Richard Thue and they lived in Mesa, AZ for five years. Pat was married to Charles Adkins in 1988 in Mesa and they moved to Kentucky living there 4 years before returning to Mesa. She moved to Flandreau in April of 2008.

Pat is survived by five children, Jacquie Eng and Kelly Eng, Mesa, AZ, Jamie Eng (Kyle Dabney), Wasilla, AK, Bryce Adkins and Clint Adkins, Flandreau and eight grandchildren, Kristie, Daniel, Shea, Kyller, Brooke, Angelique, Rowdy and Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth Fuhs.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, with burial in Union Cemetery.
