Orris "Bill" Stahly, 91, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Flandreau. Bill was born March 26, 1921 in Huron to George and Margaret (Chalberg) Stahly. He started school in Huron and lived with his parents in Huron until he was 15 years old. They moved to Moody County, SD and Bill graduated from Egan High School in 1939. He attended SDSU in Brookings and then graduated from Nettleton Business College in Sioux Falls and worked for a real estate company. In the 1950's, Bill started farming at various farms in Moody County. Bill moved into Flandreau in 1990. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Bill is survived by cousins and special friends, David Hove and Bill and Lori Sutton. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother Warren.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Flandreau, with a 2:00 pm burial Wednesday in Restlawn Memory Gardens, Huron. Visitation is Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 pm at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau.
