Michael M. Rohan, 6, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Sanford Children's Hospital, Sioux Falls. He was born December 26, 2005 in Spencer, IA to Kevin and Susan (Johnson) Rohan. His family moved to Brookings, SD and returned to Spencer in December 2007. Michael attended Johnson Elementary where he had just completed kindergarten. He liked playing t-ball, soccer, riding his bike, reading, playing games, theater and telling jokes. Michael was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Michael is survived by his parents, Kevin and Susan and his sister Lily (4), grandparents, Lawrence and Diane Johnson, Flandreau, SD, Miles and Neila Rohan, Everly, IA; great-grandmother, Phyllis Auen, Denison, IA and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 14, 2012, 1:30 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church, rural Flandreau. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, with a 7:00 pm prayer service. A second service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Grace United Methodist Church, Spencer, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 am prior to services. Arrangements by Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, and Warner Funeral Home, Spencer, IA.
