Mary Jane Bunker, 84, of Flandreau, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Edgewood Vista, Flandreau. Mary was born October 24, 1933 at Egan, SD to Herman and Bertha (Bauer) Crow. She graduated from Flandreau High School in 1951. Mary then married Leslie Wenge in Dell Rapids, SD on October 15, 1952 and raised six daughters. They resided on a farm east of Flandreau until Leslie passed on August 30, 1975. Mary married Frank Bunker in Flandreau, SD on May 21, 1988. They were married for 29 years until Frank's passing on October 10, 2017. Mary was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church and Altar Society. In her free time, she enjoyed needlework, gardening and baking.

Those left to cherish her memory are six daughters, Monica (Roger) Nieman, Omaha, NE; Cindy (Jerry) Schwebach, Brandon, SD; Jani (Mike) Schmidt, Jacksonville, FL; Cheryl (Gene) Reaves, Brandon, SD; Sheila (Todd) Rose, Watertown, SD; Dawn (Randy) Sibson, Vermillion, SD; four stepchildren, Richard "Dick" (Sharon) Bunker, Pequot Lakes, MN; Rosemary "Rosie" Schipper, Yuma, AZ; Keith and Brian Bunker, both of Flandreau; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; two sisters, Isabelle Gannon, Tea, SD; Berniece Speckels, Lee's Summit, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by both of her husbands, one stepson, one grandson, one step-grandson, her parents and two sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Flandreau, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau.
