Marsha Yvette Ustanko, 48, of Colman, SD, passed away at her home on Monday, February 17, 2020, after a long hard battle with Crohn's Disease. Marsha was born on September 6, 1971 at Pipestone, MN, to Ronald and Elaine (Krogman) Hammer of Flandreau, SD. She attended Flandreau Public Schools and graduated from Flandreau High School in 1989. The following year, Marsha graduated from the Pipestone Vocational Institute in Pipestone. Marsha was married to Michael Ustanko on March 19, 1999 in Flandreau. From this union, two sons were born. They lived on a farm east of Colman, but were recently separated.

Marsha is survived by her husband and two sons, Travis (14) and Alex (13) of Colman; her parents, Ronald and Elaine Hammer of Flandreau; one brother Shane (Amy) Hammer of Dell Rapids, SD; one nephew Rowden Hammer, of Flandreau; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Marsha was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Alma Krogman and Otto and Evelyn Hammer; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, February 21, 2020 at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, with a 7:00 pm prayer service.
