Marlene "Molly" Fox, 77, died Friday, April 8, 2011 at Covington Heights Nursing Home in Sioux Falls under hospice care. Molly was born November 25, 1933 in Colman, SD to John and Ora (Nelson) Loehr. She attended various country schools and graduated from Egan High School. Following graduation Molly worked at Ben Franklin in Flandreau. On September 4, 1953 she married Ronald Fox in Flandreau at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Together they farmed in the Colman and Flandreau area until December of 1977 when they moved to Brookings. Molly worked as a pharmacy tech at K-Mart. In August of 1998 they moved to Flandreau until their move to Sioux Falls in January of 2011. Molly liked to play cards, go dancing with Ron, gardening and flowers. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and WELCA.

Molly is survived by her husband, Ron, Sioux Falls; 4 children, Rodney (Karla) Fox, Madison, SD, Deb (Barry) Whipkey, Huron, Patty (Dan) Gilbertson, Arvada, CO, Pam (Rick) Boever, Flandreau; 9 grandchildren, Rita Mwele, Deb Borecky (Seth), Craig Fox, Cory (Amanda) Whipkey, Annie (Paul) Thury, Barry Lee (Sarah) Whipkey, Danielle Gilbertson, Miranda Boever (Jeremy Geraets), Ryan Boever; 2 step-granchildren, Alisha (Dave) Riemenschneider, Brett (Jen) Marquardt; 10 great-grandchildren, Sophia Mwele, MaKaylyn, MadLyn and DiLyn Borecky, Lincoln, Landon and Rilyn Thury, Henry & Ellie Whipkey, Aiden Geraets; 5 step-great-grandchildren, Jaelyn, Grace and Blake Riemenschneider, Adison and Tavin Marquardt and one sister, Judy (Mert) Hanson, Nunda. Molly is preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Fox; 2 great-grandsons, Tanner and Hudson Whipkey and her parents.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with burial at Union Cemetery, Flandreau. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM with the family present on Tuesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau. www.skrochfc.com
