Marie Thomas Lynch, 93 of Flandreau died Sunday at Riverview Manor in Flandreau. Marie, daughter of Martin and Anne (Christensen) Hanson, was born on October 16, 1915 in Moody County, SD. Marie graduated from Flandreau High School in 1932 and was married to Marvin Thomas on December 2, 1933 at Madison, SD. They farmed in Blinsmon Township and in 1957 they moved to Palo Alto, CA. They moved to Paradise, CA in 1970 and Marvin preceded Marie in death on November 16, 1981. She has been a resident of Riverview Manor since July of 2005.

Marie is survived by one daughter, Karen Thomas, Oakland, CA; a sister-in-law, Doreen Danielson, Flandreau and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau with burial at Union Cemetery, Flandreau.
Visitation will begin Thursday at 2:00 pm at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
