Mable J. Paulson, 98, of Flandreau died Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Riverview Manor, Flandreau. Mable was born on November 21, 1911 in Flandreau, SD to Olaf and Carrie (Iverson) Paulson. She graduated from Egan High School. Following graduation she attended Business School in Sioux Falls. Mable worked for George Rice, Carl Miller and John Shaeffer Law Offices and the Moody County Abstract Office retiring in 1980. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Flandreau and WELCA. Mable loved her church and her family and was a very giving person.

Mable is survived by a sister, Hazel Poverud, Flandreau; 4 nieces, Dianne Staggs, Lynda Foote, Paula Hite, Kay Schan; cousins, Chris and Florence Moller and sister-in-law, Joyce Paulson. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Palmer, Bernice and Alvin.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Flandreau with burial at Clare Cemetery, Flandreau. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 PM Wednesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
