Lucile A. "Lucy" Lewis died Sunday at Riverview Manor, Flandreau. Lucy was born in Paris, France to Paul and Suzanne (Dupont) Bourgeois. She received her education in Paris and worked at a French railroad station where she met Hub. They were married on June 16, 1945 in Paris. After his discharge they moved to Roswell, SD where Hub was a station agent. They moved to Wessington Springs and then to Colman. Her husband preceded her in death on December 2, 1993. Lucy was a member of Colman Methodist Church and was a very good artist.

Lucy is survived by two daughters, Jackie (John) Hay, Trent, SD and LeeAnn (Bob) Holmoe, Flandreau; six beloved grandchildren, Daniel, Michael and Laura Holmoe and Andy (Holly), Jeffrey (Jourdan) and Kristi Hay and one great-granddaughter, Jamison Hay; one brother, Jean (Cecile) Viroflay, France and one sister, Jacqueline Gianoli, Tangier, Morocco and nieces and nephews in Paris, Madrid and Haiti. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Colman United Methodist Church with burial in the Colman Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-7 pm Tuesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Colman.
