Sioux Falls – Lois "Jerry" Langner, 92, formerly of Elkton, died Sunday, April 19th at Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls. She was born at Gresham, NE on August 29, 1916 to Charles and Lydia (Neujahr) Bader. The family moved to Vale, SD and she graduated from Vale High School in 1934. Lois was married on January 7, 1940 at Pipestone, MN to Lester Langner, Sr. They lived in the Elkton area most of their lives until moving to Sioux Falls in 1989. Lester and Jerry wintered in St. Cloud, FL for 15 years. Lester preceded her in death on June 14, 2004. Jerry became a resident of Helping Hand Assisted Living in Brandon in 2007. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls.

Jerry is survived by four children, Charles (Ruth) Sioux Falls, Michael (Sun),Leavenworth, KS, LaDonna (Mick) Myers, Pipestone, Les Jr., Elkton; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a sister, Jean (Don) Lane, Elk Point. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Leland and Charles and a sister, Irene.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 24th at 3:00 pm at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Elkton, with burial at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Elkton. Visitation begins at 1:00 pm Friday until the time of service. MEMORIALS TO HELPING HAND ASISTED LIVING ACTIVITY FUND
