Kenneth L. Johnson, 80 of Brandon died Sunday at Southridge Health Care Center in Sioux Falls. Kenneth was born on April 26, 1928 at Los Angeles, CA to Reuben and Olga (Swansen) Johnson. He moved with his parents to Moody County and graduated from Flandreau High School in 1947. Kenneth enlisted in the US Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict, and was later stationed in Europe and at air bases across the US. Kenneth was married to Yong Nam Kim on August 21, 1970 in South Korea. Kenny retired from the Air Force on October 31, 1970. He worked at EROS Data Center, near Garretson, as a security guard until his retirement in 1996.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Yong Nam, Brandon; daughter, Ada Johnson, Sioux Falls, son, Steven, Brandon, grandson Shane Hoxsie, Sioux Falls, great-grandson, Carter Hoxsie and a sister, JoAnn (Gordon) Dailey, Flandreau. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 PM at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau with burial at the Bethania Cemetery, Trent, SD. Visitation will begin at 5 PM Tuesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel with family present from 5-7 PM.
