Kathryn M. Paulsen, 59, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Rapid City Regional Hopsital after a long illness. She was born on April 10, 1949 in Flandreau, SD to Peter and Mary (Maguire) Paulsen. She attended country school and graduated from Flandreau High School in 1970. Kathryn moved to Rapid City, SD in 1991.

She is survived by her mother, Mary, Flandreau; two brothers, Larry, Rapid City and Arnold (Garnet), Flandreau; two sisters, Phyllis (Wendell) Bradford, Burleson, TX and Marilyn (Loren) Burlage, Palmer Lake, CO; and 13 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Peter and a sister, Joan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Flandreau with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation begins at 2:00 pm Sunday at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
