Judy Hoffman, 70, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at her home in Elkton under hospice care. Judy was born January 19, 1939 in Red Wing, MN to Paul and Dolores (Boatmen) Lund and graduated from high school in Goodhue, MN. Judy was married to Robert Hoffman on May 31, 1980 in Post Falls, ID. They moved to Brookings, SD in 1982 and to Elkton in September of 1990. Her husband preceded her in death on January 3, 2010.


Judy is survived by three daughters, Joni (Alexander) Medina, Big Lake, MN, Robin Hendrickson, Elkton, SD and Kim (Gary) Mast, Arlington, SD; one stepdaughter, Kimberly Marker, Hayden, ID, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; 1 sister; Paulette (Carroll) Kahlstorf, Zimmerman, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Elkton, with burial in the Elkton City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the chapel.
