Johnnie R. Strenge, 76, of Dell Rapids, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Dells Nursing and Rehab Center, Dell Rapids, SD. Johnnie was born on October 18, 1943 to Carl and Pearl (Specht) Strenge in Chester, SD. He was raised in the Colman area and attended Galla County School. After school Johnnie worked as a farm hand and then owned a lawn service where he worked with his brother, Edward. He moved to the Dells Area Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where he lived until his passing. Johnnie is survived by cousins, other extended relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Pearl, his brother, Edward and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau with burial in Union Cemetery, Flandreau. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
