John "Jack" Charles Ockenga, 77, of Flandreau, South Dakota, passed away on July 29, 2026 at Avera Flandreau Hospital. The family will be present for visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Skroch Funeral Chapel in Flandreau, SD. A celebration of life followed by luncheon will take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 beginning at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
