John (Jack) Hinricher

May 1952 - August 2024

Jack, 72, of Colman, SD, passed away from natural causes due to COPD on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 2-4pm at the Skroch Funeral Chapel, 214 N. Main Street, Colman, SD 57017.

Jack was born in Dell Rapids, SD to Omer and the late Bernice (Groos) Hinricher. He graduated from Technical High School, St. Cloud, MN. Jack joined the US Navy in 1971 serving in Guam, Thailand, and Vietnam. He worked as a trucker and as a skilled welder.

Jack leaves behind, son, Jesse, Munich, Germany; Jack's love Nancy, Pipestone, MN. His father, Omer, Colorado; sisters and brother, Gloria (Pat) Virginia, Rose (Dennis) Minnesota, Mary (Mark) Colorado, Randy (Stephanie) Colorado;  and sister-in-law, Dianne, Colorado. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice; and brother, William.

Following the celebration of life, you are invited to join the family for refreshments and fellowship at St. Peter Catholic Church Hall in Colman.
