Jackie K. Turner, 78, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Avera McKennan Hospital. Jackie was born on April 24, 1936 to Starlin and Verna (Mathews) Graybeal in Watsonville, California. Jackie was an independent woman who loved to travel and moved many times. She lived in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, South Dakota, and California. Jackie enjoyed being in the mountains, close to the ocean, and taking nature rides. She loved her family and friends and it always showed. It was difficult to be around Jackie and not smile.

Jackie is survived by five children, Bruce (Kathy) McGuffin, Dale (Linda) McGuffin, Debbie McGuffin, Michael (Tina) McGuffin, Lyn (David) Newman; thirteen grandchildren, Wayne, Nick, Rochelle, Rod, Shawn, Chance, Joshua, Cameron, Riley, Stacy, Derrick, Christopher, Casandra; two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sparky. She is preceded in death by her son, Rodney and brother Warren.

A Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Four Winds Apartments in Flandreau.
