Harold W. Jennings, 76, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at his home. Harold was born August 13, 1938 at Crittenden County, KY to John and Mary (King) Jennings. He received his education in Crittenden County School and graduated in 1956. Harold entered the U.S. Army in 1961 and was stationed in Ft. Carson, CO until his discharge in December of 1963. He married Shirley Entz on June 19, 1964 in Westcliffe, CO. Harold owned and operated Jennings Market in Westcliffe and was the mayor of Westcliffe for several years. He retired in 1999 and they moved to Flandreau permanently in 2012. Harold loved wildlife and birds, to hunt, fish, and ride horseback into the mountains, and he especially loved his grandsons.

Harold is survived by his wife, Shirley, two daughters, Deb (Randy) Johanson, Flandreau, Connie (Scott) Dunn, Brush, CO, four grandsons, Jake, Bobby, Jenner, Hunter, sister-in-law Faye Jennings, Crittenden County, KY and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Bill and Bob and a nephew Dwayne.

Funeral Services will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau with burial at a later date in ULA Cemetery, Westcliffe, CO. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm prior to the service.
