Glenda Kay Jewett, 70, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Sanford Hospice Centennial Cottage, Sioux Falls. She was born March 14, 1945 in Flandreau, SD to Robert and Maxine (King) Relf. Glenda graduated from Egan High School in 1963. She married Richard Jewett on August 27, 1966 in Flandreau, SD. Glenda was a bank teller and bookkeeper at Farmers State Bank for 18 years and then was a bookkeeper at Ahlers Automotive for 10 years. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and loved her grandchildren, attending their sporting events, playing cards, and "fine dining".
Glenda is survived by her husband Richard, three children, Lisa (KK) Drapeau, Phoenix, AZ, Dan (Stacy) Jewett, Crooks, SD, Mike (Michelle) Jewett, Brookings, SD, six grandchildren, Noah, Michaela, Paige, Kaden, Kate and Brady, and one brother Richard (Lillian) Relf, Egan, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Larry Relf.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with burial in Union Cemetery, Flandreau. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday with a 7:00 pm prayer service at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
