Georgeann (Faris) Dorion, 67, passed away Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, at her home in Lewiston. She was born April 22, 1942, in Los Angeles, to Virginia Voss and Fletcher Faris. She was raised in Flandreau, SD where she graduated from high school in 1960. She later graduated from beauty school in Sioux Falls, SD. Georgeann later moved to Rapid City, SD where she owned the House of Charm hair salon. In 1978, she moved to Lewiston ID, where she worked at the Boutique Beauty Salon, Results Realty and Lewis-Clark Recyclers. She married Richard Dorion on Oct 22, 1981, in Lewiston. Georgeann loved flower gardening, rummaging, computer gaming, reading, painting and crafting.

Georgeann is survived by her husband, Richard of Lewiston; two daughters, Stacey Dorion Smith of Boise, ID and Shanna Hinker of Harrisburg; sisters Jeri Lynne Faris of Brookings and Vicie Hartwell of Lewiston; and grandchildren Samantha Rice and Andrew Rice of Boise, Logan Ward of Brookings, Whitney Ward and Conner Young, both of Sioux Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Susan Ward.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau with burial in Union Cemetery, Flandreau, SD.
