Erma A. Myers, 85, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Riverview Manor, Flandreau. Erma was born October 27, 1924 at Flandreau to Henry and Clara (Saltwell) Hagedorn. She received her education in Moody County country schools until the 8th grade and then helped on the family farm. Erma married LeRoy A. Myers on June 21, 1948 in Parker, SD. They farmed northeast of Flandreau until retiring in 1997. LeRoy preceded her in death on May 11, 2004. Erma was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Ladies. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, playing cards and sharing time with her friends and family.

Erma is survived by 2 sons, Dean (Jolene) Myers, Glendive, MT, David Myers, Sioux Falls; son-in-law, Darwin Ellefson, Virginia; 6 grandchildren, Dylan, Derek, Troy, Kalyn, Jennifer, Jessica; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Diane; infant daughter, Debbie; parents; 3 sisters and 6 brothers.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 13, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Second Presbyterian Church with burial at Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
