He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad and family. Eric and Scott spent many summer days playing baseball at the farm; they used their pajama pants because they looked like uniforms, pretending to be professionals and batting left handed to make it more realistic. He had a passion for music; he loved to play guitar and sing, but not play the piano like his mom. He loved to play pinochle with his family. Eric loved having Heidi as a partner so they could kick Nikki's butt. He loved his family and his nieces and nephews were his pride and joy.
Eric is survived by his wife Kristi; his parents Ricky and Sharon, Jasper; three siblings, Scott (Leah), Royalton, MN (Dakota, Aurora, Bianca); Nicole (John) Martens, Pipestone, MN (Angel, Noelle, JJ, Cody); Heidi (Dan) Dammen, Grand Forks, ND; 15 nieces and nephews; and mother and father-in-law, Linda and Pat Flanagan, Pipestone, MN.
