Edwina M. Talbott, 91, Los Angeles, CA, passed away March 12, 2016. She was born July 1, 1924 in Colman, SD. Edwina graduated from Colman High School in 1942 and attended Eastern State Normal School in Madison, SD. She received her teaching certificate in 1944 and taught in Washington, DC. Edwina married Edmund J. Talbott in 1946. They moved to the San Fernando Valley in California in 1951 where they raised their five children. Edwina returned to higher education in the late 1960's and received her RN degree from L.A. Valley College in 1979. She and her husband retired to Hollenbeck Palms in Los Angeles in 2001, where they happily spent their remaining years.


Edwina is survived by her loving children Anne, Jeff, Dorothy and Eileen. She was preceded in death by her husband Edmund and her son Joseph.
