Doretta G. Spangler, 86, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 in Puyallup WA. Dorretta was born on November 19, 1927 to Martin and Lillian Dierks. Doretta graduated from Flandreau High School in 1945. She married Virgil Spangler on September 3, 1948 in Pipestone, MN. The last twenty years of her life she lived with her children in the state of Washington.

Dorretta is survived by her daughter Cathy Spangler, Puyallup, WA, three siblings, David (Jenny) Dierks, Kansas City, Dorothy (Kenneth) Stimson, Springfield, MO, Dr. Richard (Sharla) Dierks, Longmont, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil, son James Spangler and parents.

Funeral services are Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00 am at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau. Visitation is one hour before the funeral service on Monday.
