Dominador Ruiz Pisawis, 46, died Monday, May 9, 2011 at his home. Dom was born in Manila, Philippines on September 3, 1964 to Salvador and Emma Pisawis. He was raised in Quezon City, Philippines and achieved a degree in Communication Technology and Auto Mechanic Engineer. He was a devoted member of "Corsilyo" and PREX in the Our Lady of Hope Parish, Philippines. Dom was married to Teresita Articona on March 26, 1997 in Manila. They moved to the United States in September of 1999. Dom work at Riverview Manor since September 1999 working in the rehabilitation dept. and also volunteered driving RVM residents. He proudly became a US citizen on September 11, 2010. Dom is a cheerful, warm, loving person and always ready to give help in his own simple way. His attitude of making people happy through his music playing guitar will be missed by many of his friends and the residents and resident families at Riverview Manor.

Dom is survived by his wife, Teresita; 3 children, Dominique, Stephanie and David; his parents, Emma and Salvador, Philadelphia; 4 siblings, Dong (Rexie) Pisawis, Flandreau, Imelda (Nonong) Deramos, Philadelphia, Jennifer Pisawis, Philadelphia, Marjorie (Jeremy) Muzada, Philippines; Tita Annie and Tito Bing Garcia, Flandreau and cousins, nephews and nieces. Dom was preceded in death by 1 brother, Cris, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Thursday at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation begins at 4:00 pm Wednesday with a 7:00 pm prayer service at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
