Diane G. Lenning, 71, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at her daughter's home under hospice care. Diane was born September 19, 1942 at Estelline, SD to Ambrose and Grace (Zebell) Warborg. She graduated from Estelline High School and then attended Stewart's School of Hairstyling in Sioux Falls. Diane married Sidney Lenning on February 23, 1961 in Arizona. They lived in Estelline and moved to Dilworth, MN in 1969. In 1986 they moved to the Egan/Flandreau area. Diane worked as a cook and janitor at the Egan Public Schools and Royal River Casino for 13 years until she retired. Her husband preceded her in death on May 11, 2010. For the past three years, Diane has lived with her daughter Heide in Missouri.

Diane is survived by six daughters, Michelle (Jeff) Swenson, Dilworth, MN, Melissa (Matt) Lacey, Flandreau, Kelly (Tim) Ullom, Flandreau, Korie (Marvin-MSG US Army) Smith, Ft. Leonardwood, MO, Heather (Mike) Ketcham, Flandreau, Heide Lenning, (SFC US Army), Ft. Leonardwood, MO; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Dean (Dona) Warborg, TX, Leroy (Marge) Warborg, Estelline, Darrel (Kathy) Warborg, Brewster, MN, Dan (Barb) Warborg, Egan and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Melette, parents and one brother Larry.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau with burial in St. Francis DeSales Catholic Cemetery, Estelline, SD.
