David Van De Berg, age 80, of rural Colman entered into eternal peace on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Ava's House in Sioux Falls. David Harlan was born on January 13, 1938 in Orange City, IA, to Henry and Cornelia (Van't Hol) Van De Berg. He grew up and was educated in Sioux and Lyon County, IA. David lived and farmed in the Colman area. He enjoyed dealing farm machinery, combine parts and old cars.

David is survived by his brother, Stan (Judie) Van De Berg of Sioux Falls; several nieces and nephews and his coffee friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Lillian (Van De Berg) DeBoer, and infants Arloa and Marjorie Van De Berg; four brothers, Andrew, Willard, Elmer and Richard; brother-in-law, Theran DeBoer; niece, Arloa Jean DeBoer and nephew, Leon Bruce DeBoer.
