Darrell J. Hiller, 76, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at Hospice of the Valley, Mesa, AZ. He was born May 19, 1936 in Madison, SD to John and Mary (Petit) Hiller. He graduated from Colman High School in 1954 and then served in the Army and was stationed in Germany. He returned to the family farm two miles south of Colman where he lived all 76 years of his life. Darrell married Naomi Williams on January 26, 1958 in Colman. He was a member of the Egan Methodist Church and a former member of the Colman Methodist Church. Darrell served on the Colman School Board for many years, was a member of Madison Elks Club and a former member of the Colman Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, golfing and had a passion for farming.

Darrell is survived by his wife Naomi, four children, Peggy (Pat) Baldwin, Tea, SD, Robin Coyle, Manly, IA, Bill and James, both of Colman and nine grandchildren, Patrick, Patricia, John, Sarah (Luke), Dylan, Lane, Tucker, Shelby and Ty. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lu and son-in-law Tom.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, February 8, 2013 at Colman Lutheran Church with burial in Colman Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00-7:00 pm Thursday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Colman.
