Clifford Jensen, 90, of Elkton, SD, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at United Living Community in Brookings, SD.  A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Skroch Funeral Chapel in Elkton, SD.

Cliff was born in 1933 to Carl and Hulda (Heesch) Jensen in Elkton, SD. He graduated from Elkton High School in 1951. In 1953 he was drafted into the United States Army and served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He was united in marriage to Carol Risch on September 8, 1957. To this union, the couple was blessed with six children.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Carol Jensen; children, Julie (Rick) Newell, Verdi, MN, Greg (Carol) Jensen, Elkton, SD, Doug (Patti) Jensen, Elkton, SD, Kristi (Todd) Kennedy, Valley Center, KS, Shelly Jensen, Sioux Falls, SD, and Garry (Lynda) Jensen, Valley Center, KS; sister, Donna Thielen, Elkton, SD; grandchildren, Jesse Brunsvig, Fargo, ND, Josh  Brunsvig, Canby, MN, Justin Brunsvig, Canova, SD, Becky Rutkowski, Steve Jensen, Mike Jensen, all of Elkton, SD, Aaron Myers, Minneapolis, MN, April Thurman, Bend, OR, Christian Kennedy, Valley Center, KS, and Dakota Hooser, Park City, KS; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Melvin, Russell, and Roland.
