Charlie Pank, 54, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at his home in Flandreau. Charlie was born September 27, 1958 at Luverne, MN to Marvin and Charlotte (Smith) Pank. He received his education at the Flandreau Public School. Charlie worked as a janitor with Al Reinhart at the Middle School, and then worked with Roger Ehlers at Flandreau Community Oil for Jim and Lois Pasch. Then he worked for Royal River Casino for 17 years and presently at Aramark (SDSU Food Service) in Brookings, SD. Charlie did mowing, snow blowing and many other odd jobs for people.

Charlie is survived by nine siblings, Mervin "Toby" Pank, Renner, Mavis Heibult (Lee Reed), Aurora, SD, Grace (Gary) Jensen, Renner, Gary (Cindy) Pank, Trent, Charlotte (Alan) Kuechenmeister, Brookings, Rose Davis, Brookings, Ronnie (Janet) Pank, Sioux Falls, Dianne Pank, Zumbrota, MN, Denise (Tim) Johnson, Flandreau, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends at Pleasant Valley Colony, including Rich Tschetter and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Douglas.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau with burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Luverne, MN. Visitation is from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
