Carolle Carlson, 73, passed away October 31, 2008 in New York. Carolle (Wanda Charlotte) Carlson was born December 2, 1934 in Sioux Falls, SD to George S. and Frieda (Lutter) Carlson of Lennox, SD. After her mother's death in 1939, she lived with her aunt and uncle, Clarence and Augusta (Betty) Anderson. She attended school in Sioux Falls and graduated from Washington High in 1953. She then attended the University of Minnesota. After college she moved to New York City where she spent the rest of her life working in the art field. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by cousins, Eleanor Kuehl and Geneva Ekern, both of Flandreau, SD and Shirley Nelson of Yankton, SD.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am Thursday at the Lennox Cemetery.
