Caroline L. Gullickson, 92, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at United Living Community, Brookings, SD. She was born September 15, 1922 in Douglas County, SD to Helmuth and Gertrude (Moke) Luebke. She attended a country school and graduated from the School of Agriculture in Brookings, SD. Caroline married Lloyd Gullickson on March 1, 1942 at Dimock, SD. They farmed in Riverview Township and in 1943 started to farm in Fremont Township. Her husband preceded her in death on January 22, 1999. Caroline was a member of Midway Lutheran Church where she was active in church and mission work and was an avid gardner.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Gerald) Anderson, The Villages, FL, Lois Bunker, Bemidji, MN, two grandchildren, Angela (Kelly) Hanson, Devon (Rebecca) Bunker, three great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Savanna, Camden, two step-granddaughers, Jerilyn and Shelia, one step-great-grandson Jordan, one brother Neal (Carol) Luebke, Minneapolis, and one sister Mary Ann (Douglas) Little, Ormand Beach, FL. Caroline was preceded in death by her husband, son Douglas, grandson Michael Douglas Maurstad, parents, and one sister Ruth Winter.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Midway Lutheran Church, rural Colman, SD with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5 – 7 pm Friday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, with a 7:00 pm prayer service.
